Much, much better than I expected. I was initially worried that this was an older ship and that it would show its age. Wrong on all counts. The ship was in perfect condition and the staff was amazing from top to bottom. The ship is perfect for families of all sizes with a constant list of activities outside of the pools. And the pools, especially for small children looked great. Lots of lifeguards too. Entertainment was also better than I expected. Music around the ship, while not to my liking, was well done and seemed popular with most of the other folks. Food was very hit or miss. Some nights were certainly better than others and some dishes were really not good. But if you were adventurous there was always something new to try or ask for and in a way that is a big plus. Overall I not only had a good time but enjoyed the cruise a lot. Only downside was the chaos in the terminal. Extremely long line of cars that would not advance meant you really had to walk a long distance to get to the terminal. Once inside the process of getting on board took less than 10 minutes. Leaving the ship was fine until you try to find a taxi, bus or uber. Once again the crowding in the parking lots makes everything slow to a crawl. Took almost one hour to get into a taxi. Buses were moving just as slow. Seemed a lot had to do with the lack of folks directing traffic and that many lanes were closed off. Royal is using the MSC terminal while they upgrade their own, so until that is finished be warned that delays will keep happening.
