This was our first cruise and it was amazing! We went with a large group of friends and the ship was able to accommodate all of us to be together for dining and entertainment, which made it extra special. There are so many restaurants to choose from. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, the main dining room was huge and their menu each day was unbelievable. The specialty restaurants were a nice change for a more intimate setting and the food at all of the restaurants was out of this world! Our cabin was spacious, beautiful and very clean. The service we received in our cabin as well as throughout the ship was fantastic! The activities and entertainment available were endless and the excursions were lots of fun. Everything was well organized from preparing us for the cruise, to arrival, to leaving the ship. Our trip was so much fun that we look forward to booking another trip with Regent in the future!
My husband and I joined a group of friends to explore Canada, Nova Scotia, and the East Coast on Regent Seven Seas Cruise Line. The ship was beautiful and our room was gorgeous. The entire staff was welcoming, attentive and very helpful! We greatly appreciate all of their hard work. We can’t say enough about the fabulous food! All of the restaurants offered varied delicious menu items. The featured chefs offered cooking classes which were informative and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed the nightly entertainment which included great music, talented singers and dancers, as well as a great comedian! We also took part in the daily Trivia games and Mensa questions each day. We enjoyed spending time in the well appointed card/game room with our friends during the sea days. The staff offered many fun activities throughout those days as well. We will definitely travel with Regent Seven Seas Cruises again!
Regent Seven Seas Cruises is, in my opinion, the finest cruise line in the world. Our recent Canada/New England 11 Night Cruise, only solidified my opinion of Regent being a truly first class experience in every aspect of cruising. It begins with the friendliest staff helping you plan your cruise, ease of check in (no long lines ever!), extremely polite and caring staff, beautiful accommodations, interesting and fun excursions, highly entertaining and excellent onboard entertainment, and Michelin Star quality cuisine! Our Canada/New England cruise started in Montreal. Upon arrival to the ship, check in was very organized and fast. Regent staff welcomed you with a glass of champagne and directed you to the wonderful welcome lunch. One could relax there over a leisurely lunch, or explore the magnificent Splendor. Very quickly, our rooms were all ready and luggage had been delivered. (We had traveled with a group of 12). The cuisine of Regent Seven Seas is exceptional, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully curated. Each dish reflects a meticulous attention to detail and delivers a true fine dining experience. The dining program as a whole is refined, elegant, and consistently superb. The Pool Grille offers more casual daytime dining with a variety of international cuisines, as well as old favorites such as burgers, pizza, panini sandwiches, wraps, and fries. Two of our favorites there were the Ahi Tuna Burger and Lobster Nachos:) Guests can also enjoy 24 hour in-suite dining, providing convenience without compromising quality. The bar service on the Splendor is impeccable. The bartenders can craft virtually anything. Every bar and lounge is thoughtfully designed, tastefully decorated and creates an atmosphere of comfort and sophistication. Our Canada/New England cruise did not disappoint. It started in Montreal, and it was so nice to spend the night on the Splendor and then have the next day to explore Montreal and the countryside. Regent Seven Seas had a wide variety of excursions to choose from and we all thoroughly enjoyed them. We especially loved Peggy's Cove and the market in St. John's. Another highlight was visiting the charming town of Kennebunkport. My advice would be to book Regent Seven Seas for any cruise you have in mind, and don't hesitate!
We have sailed with Regent for about 20 years and have enjoyed all of the trips. Cue to our age and mobility difficulties, my wife and I did not expect to be able to cruise again. However, our daughters came with us and were super. One aboard, and even with pre-boarding, the staff were exemptory in their care for us. The ship is beautiful. the dining is outstanding in all of the restaurants and while Hurricane Melissa made some waves, the ship's crew kept us apprised of everything and the ship weathered the conditions better than some that we have been on. We are happy that the service and care at RSSC is as good as it has been on every previous voyage. While the atmosphere was lively, Regent retains the ability to make the trip relaxing. My wife and I hope to have at least one more Regent trip.
We are frequent cruisers. This cruise was an exceptional experience, and we could find no negatives to report! Cruise staff members were outstanding, food was delicious, wine selections were to our liking, entertainers were talented and personable, and our suite was perfect. We were impressed with some of the creative activies, such as "the block party", and we were delighted to see the video in the theatre. We made friends with Karen Macaballug the first night while dining in Compass Rose. Karen made it part of her duties to care for us anytime she saw us in another area of the ship. This attention from a crew member, makes a passenger feel special. The head sommelier also offered attention "above and beyond" the call of duty, and we appreciated his service. Kudos and praise for the cruise director, Dru. He was one of the best we have experienced on any of our cruises.
